Flow of accepting specific skills
In order to accept specific skilled workers, several steps must be taken, such as checking the target industry and company requirements, and applying for residence status.

Confirmation of eligible industries
Specified skills are limited to 14 fields (as of 2023):
Nursing care, building cleaning, materials industry, industrial machinery manufacturing, electrical and electronic information-related industries, construction, shipbuilding, marine industry, automobile maintenance, aviation, accommodation, agriculture, fishing, food and beverage manufacturing, restaurant industry, transportation industry
Check the requirements of the host organization (company)

Specific skill No. 1:
Entering into a direct employment contract with a foreigner
Salary is equivalent to that of Japanese employees
Formulating and implementing support plans (Japanese language education, life orientation, etc.)
No previous violations of laws and regulations
採用プロセス
(1) When hiring a person who lives in Japan
We hire candidates who pass the skills test and Japanese language test.
Generally, people transition from international students or technical intern trainees (those who have completed three years of technical intern training are exempt from the exam)
(2) Inviting from overseas
Conducting recruitment exams locally
Pass the proficiency test (by field) and Japanese language test (JLPt N4 level or above or JFT-Basic test)
Collaborate with local dispatching agencies (it is important to select the appropriate agency)
Application procedures for status of residence
Applying for a Certificate of Eligibility (COE)
Submit to the Regional Immigration Bureau (required documents include employment contract, support plan, company overview, etc.)
Visa issuance: After obtaining the COE, the foreign national applies for a visa at the Japanese embassy or consulate in their home country.
Post-entry procedures
Housing and living support: securing housing, opening a bank account, providing information on medical institutions, etc.
Vocational training: Continuing education in necessary skills and Japanese language
Regular interviews: Checking working conditions and living conditions at least once every three months
